What Is HYROX?

HYROX is a global fitness race combining endurance and functional strength across a consistent, race-tested format. Participants alternate between running and functional workouts like sled pushes, rowing, wall balls, and more. HYROX isn’t just a competition, it’s a powerful way to train.

At Body English, an official HYROX Training Center, we bring that training style to life with fully coached HYROX classes that improve strength, stamina, and performance — whether you plan to compete or just want a great workout.

HYROX for Fitness

If you are looking for a high-quality training experience that builds strength and endurance, without the complexity of Olympic lifting or high-skill gymnastics, you'll love this program.

HYROX for Performance

Hybrid athlete competitions are growing fast and our HYROX Training Center is here to support people interested in testing their fitness in a competitive format. This program will support preparedness for various events such as:

  • HYROX competitions
  • DEKA FIT, MILE, or STRONG
  • Spartan, OCR, or tactical events
  • Cross-training for runners, cyclists, and other endurance athletes

Our HYROX classes help you develop the race-specific strength, pacing, and experience needed to perform the way you want. You’ll train hard, smart, and with purpose.

What Is HYROX (The Sport)?

HYROX is the “World Series of Fitness Racing.” Each event follows the same format: 8 functional fitness stations paired with 8 x 1K runs — making it a measurable, repeatable, and scalable competition.

Fitness stations include:

  • SkiErg
  • Sled Push & Pull
  • Burpee Broad Jumps
  • Rowing
  • Farmer’s Carries
  • Sandbag Lunges
  • Wall Balls

It’s a sport designed for gym athletes — no elite background required.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
