Introducing “Recovery with Dr. Scott” — A New Monthly Class at Body English
At Body English, we believe that performance starts with recovery. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a brand-new class: Recovery with Dr. Scott Mills, our in-house sports chiropractor.
Starting Friday, November 7th at 10:00 AM, this monthly class (held the first Friday of every month) is designed to help you move better, feel better, and understand what your body needs to stay healthy and resilient — both in and out of the gym.
What to Expect
Recovery with Dr. Scott blends movement, education, and breathwork into a practical, hands-on session focused on restoring function and improving longevity.
Classes may include:
- 🌀 Mobility work to open up tight areas and restore range of motion
- 🧘 Foam rolling and self-myofascial release techniques
- 💪 Functional activation drills to help muscles fire properly
- 🌬️ Breathwork and mindset for nervous system regulation and stress relief
- 🧠 Education on self-care vs. professional care — when to use tools like the sauna, cold plunge, or massage, and when it’s time to see your chiropractor
Why Recovery Matters
We train hard — lifting, running, sweating — but true progress comes from how well we recover. Recovery work helps reduce injury risk, improve mobility, enhance performance, and build long-term resilience.
Dr. Scott’s goal is to help you understand why recovery is the missing link in most fitness programs, and how you can use simple daily practices to keep your body strong, pain-free, and performing its best.
